Jacob Furco aka Furco was born on April 13, 1998 in Syracuse, New York and raised under his parents, Samuel Furco & Gina Furco. Growing up Furco was always influenced by music through his father Sam who is a Radio MC/ Drummer. In Furco's early child years, his Father managed a branch of Radio Disney here in Syracuse , which led him to listening to pop as a child and gave him the opportunity to meet and watch celebrity Disney stars perform live around the East Coast. Thats where he believes his pop routes and wanting to be a performer came from.

 

It wasn't until he was 8 years old when he knew music was what he wanted to do. When 4th grade came around Furco was introduced to the game Rock Band, which was a Christmas Gift from his Grandparents. His main instrument he gravitated to the most at the time was the guitar. He instantly fell in love with the game and felt like a rockstar, so he begged his Dad for the next 5 months to buy him a real guitar for his birthday. Once he got the guitar , he signed up for lessons and thats where his music journey began. 2 years into playing guitar, it was time to join the middle school band and pick another instrument to learn along side with guitar. Furco chose to pick up the Drums after his Father who is also a drummer and had drums at home for him to learn on when he was not at school. After years of playing instruments Furco started slowing down with that side of music and started experimenting more with his voice. For him it felt more of an easier process to learn and create music of his own. In the 7th grade he started writing his own songs and recording them in his bedroom with some cheap equipment he bought from the local Guitar Center. He then started uploading them for the world to hear. Furco stated " At first it was just rap because I had no sense of pitch or how to vocalize in order to sing,  I sounded terrible when I recorded myself. I had to sign myself up for audio classes at the local studio to figure out how to sound better  without being a talented singer. I was too young to understand all the audio, but that side of things slowly turned into a passion of mine too, I went to college for Audio". He started to realize this was his favorite way of making music. He knew he had to get better. Furco eventually joined The High School Choir where he was required to take singing lessons.  Along with that, he also took over the Sound/Lighting department at his school, where he became the main Sound Engineer for 4 years. Furco ran the boards for all chorus concerts, band concerts, musical theatre, and events held at his school. After High School, Furco decided to start his next chapter at Ithaca College where he studied Sound Recording Technology & Vocal Performance to become a triple threat combo. After College he got himself a freelance position working out of a recording studio.

Furco is now a 27 year old Recording Artist, Audio Engineer & Actor. You can find his music on all streaming services such as Spotify, Apple Music, Soundcloud, Youtube etc. Furco works as a Full Time Artist/Performer, and Freelance Recording Engineer, where he helps artists across his city get the right sound for their music!
